Don’t stop playing sports after high school. Just play something for fun in college even if youre not good. Go to the batting cages, do some intramural stuff. You’ll start playing tennis and boxing and padel again when youre in your late 20s anyways. So just keep playing even if it’s like an hour a week of goofing around.
You quit smoking weed 7 years ago. Whenever anyone asks you the biggest difference, you say “I actually finish my projects now”. You know all those childhood business ideas and schemes you never finished because you were too stoned? Now you get them done.
The point of posting is to connect with your friends and family who you don’t see everyday. YouTube videos, blogs, podcasts, vines, tweets, Instagram posts, whatever. You know this at a young age but at some point the money starts hitting and your audience starts growing and you think the point of posting is to make money and grow an audience. You start thinking more about making strangers laugh on the internet and cash than connection. You start overthinking all your content and your posts and ideas instead of just making stuff that helps you connect with a few people. Your mom and grandma watch your Instagram reels because you don’t call and the reels ain’t even really you. Dont forget what it’s always been about. Connection.
